World Horizons Update

An update from David and Corne Storm about their work with World Horizons:

In the last two weeks we have visited Christian Unions in London and Sheffield as the guest speaker. We love to introduce, inspire and challenge an audience on the topic of pioneer mission. The above picture was taken at a recent charity open weekend, another opportunity to share what God is doing through ordinary people around the world. Please pray for more opportunities and invitations to churches and universities/colleges.

Land Rovers need to feature in the blog somewhere! Wayne (whom many of you met in April) and I have been steadily working on this vehicle making it ready for the month long summer expedition to North Africa. Replacing universal joints, fixing a leak in the clutch slave cylinder, changing the gearbox and differential oils, rust protection on all the doors .... needless to say we are learning a lot, including patience! Please pray for finances for the vehicle, it costs about £2000 a year including charity insurances, tax and maintenance.

As a family we had a great visit to Scotland! We had time with family, friends and a very warm welcome from the Link church. We also got a day out hiking in Glencoe on a gorgeous sunny day! We celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary at the end of May and have been treated to a few days in Holland with a specific gift from a friend. Please pray for us, that we have a great time in Holland and that we would learn to better balance the demands of family and work life.
Thanks!
God bless,
David
